Android guide to setup Blueyonder mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Blueyonder email address
Password: your Blueyonder email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.virginmedia.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • Hello.......I am having issues with my phone after the software was up-dated yesterday morning. It is an android phone Sony Xperia 5 Mk 2. It does not recognise my email address as I was trying to figure it out how this afternoon. I have remove M/S Outlook and try to install it again but M/S does not recognise my email address. Please can you help me as I can access to my Outlook on my home pc but not phone. Your urgent attention to this matter would be much appreciated.
