Android guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Sky.com email address
Password: your Sky.com email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.tools.sky.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • MS Outlook 365 stopped connecting to the IMAP server nearly a week ago for no apparent reason. After a deal of searching SKY are demanding using their own 16 digit app password generated from their website. swopped this for my existing password and it worked straight away.

  • Have the same issues trying to access email. Have deleted the account from my device tin an attempt toner add it. Is says the username or password is incorrect whichnis not as incandescent access on other devices or on web or the pop3/imap settings need authorised form account. I have not changed anything so how do I sort this?
