Android guide to setup Yahoo mail
1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.
If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.
2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':
Email: your Yahoo email address
Password: your Yahoo email password
3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':
imap server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993
4 Your account is now ready to use.
Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

I have a new android phone and transferred my old # to the new phone. However my yahoo mail will now only work on the new phone when I am connected to WiFi. . On the old phone I did not have to be connected to get and send mail. How do I fix this problem?? Help!!!

I use a Sony Xperia Z5. I have been logged out from my mail app and every time I enter my log in details, it keeps telling me that my username and password are incorrect. I have reset my password numerous times to make sure it's right. Need help.

Please this is my new email and every other yahoo email like homejones2001@yahoo.com should be cancelled or deleted and all messages therein should be send to my new yahoo mail arikujones6844@yahoo.com. moreover my phone number is changed as well to 07565148394. Thank you as you update this email.

I cannot seem to get the setting right on my android phone. Mine is a biz mail account. What am I doing wrong? can you please provide proper settings? I have tried IMAP and Pop settings. It used to work. Now it does not.
