iPhone guide to setup Blueyonder mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.virginmedia.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

  • Hi I have successfully got blueyonder mail working on iPhone 6. On my laptop the email is viewed through Outlook as is Calendar. But calendar on iPhone is not showing same as laptop, only shows public holidays. I have tried adding outlook account to iPhone but this only doubles up on mail and won't make calendar work.

  • iPhone6S - Password no longer recognised for outgoing mail. Still works fine on PC. With ios10 update, ipad also no longer sends blueyonder email. Can still receive though.

  • I use an Apple iPhone and all was working fine, yesterday I downloaded an update from Apple and today all my emails (inbox) have gone, an empty inbox. I have checked the deleted items but they are not there.

  • Says "cannot send mail" as "SMTP:devi.palania@blueyonder.co.uk" is incorrect. I entered incorrect password by mistake when first trying to send an e-mail on my new I-phone. Don't know how to rectify this. Can receive mails but not able to send them on my new iPhone now. Who should I cot tact to rectify this? Thanks for your help

  • My email has been working perfectly for years and now it's stopped working .. Works ok on my computer .. Is the mail server down .. I've been into settings and imap4 is now only imap I've not changed settings ??
