iPhone guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.tools.sky.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

had same problems with iPhone, changed to yahoo for add new account in settings, removed old sky account that was not working and then set up with yahoo details. Did not accept them until I clicked on save my username, then all ok.

I have had a problem for a few weeks across all my apple devices with my Sky email account. The solution is to ignore all the above, but to click on 'Yahoo' email when adding the account- all sorted quickly and simply.

My email on my iPad and iPhone have stopped working and it keeps saying incorrect password. The password is correct as I can access with this on the internet. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the email account but the same message keeps coming up. Can you advise what the problem is please. Thanks

Add your sky email in by clicking on ‘yahoo’ and mine added no bother.

My iphone tells me that it cannot get mail and that imap.tools.sky.com is incorrect. I have set it up as you have stated, the only thing your script does not give is Server Port on incoming settings is 993. is this correct ??

Can not access my email account on my iPhone. Tried deleting and reading my account but still get user name or password incorrect for imap.tool.sky.com. Tried resetting password still get message. Please can you suggest anything that might resolve this issue Thanks
