iPhone guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.tools.sky.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

  • Hi...I am having problems getting my email from my ipad or iphone. I have just set it up yesterday and I was receiving email,now it has stopped. I have deleted and reinstated and followed your instructions but keeps saying sky server is down. Could you please try and assist as my old email will expire in a few days.   • Can't get mail. The message says username or password for iMac tools sky.com is incorrect I spoke to sky this afternoon and a staff member talked me through re-setting my password. He then got me to delete my email account but when I try to set up a new account I just keep getting the error message. Please help!

  • I keep getting the same message from my sky.mail account on my iPhone6S. It keeps saying that my username or password are incorrect, both are correct. I re-entered my details and it still doesn't work. This has been happening off and on for months now, need a final fix for this issue
