I recently moved to the UK from the Netherlands. Today an engineer from BT connected me to the internet. Unfortunately I can not receive or send mails. My brother in law looked into the matter and he tells me my settings are: POP.tools.sky.com and SMTP.tools.sky.com. My outgoing server requires logon auth. Connection - use "connect using my LAN'. Incoming server ssl 995. Outgoing server ssl 465.This server requirs an encryption connection (ssl). As I do not understand all this I need your help, please.

IOS Outlook (iPhone/iPad) !! Not Sierra Outlook....

On IOS Outlook every time I log into Sky/Yahoo email it asks for my password!!

Its driving me nuts and I'm about to ditch Sky as a consequence....What is the issue?

Sky email has been a fiasco ever since the switch from gmail with various hacks into Yahoo and password changes a necessity, and these have not been well supported....

Sky/Yahoo, please get your act together and fix these problems....

My partner has recently moved in with me together with his computer which we both use for work. I am able to receive and send messages on my personal email which is vanessa.higgins1@ntlworld.com which I access through virgin media but my work email vanessa.higgins@rainbow-promises.co.uk which is set up for me on the computer through Outlook is receiving messages fine but will not send any. Different forums have suggested the server is blocking the outgoing ones, though I can't understand why it should block one type and not another. Also mentions lots of codes but I'm a real dinosaur when it comes to computers and it all reads like a different language. Can you help please?

I have an email address vedalyn@sky.com set-up within outlook which is the primary account on my sky account which is working fine. But what I can't get to work in outlook is an alias mingo02@sky.com under my primary account, I just receive an error message stating check email address i.e mingo02@sky.com

We get the message "we can't sync because your account information has changed. We have not changed anything and have tried extensively adding adopted Password but that isn't being accepted, help please

Outlook 2007, incoming email fine, but they won't send from desktop. It's Microsoft Vista Basic.

looking for some help with my fathers sky.com e-mail account please......he has it running through Windows Live, but it is saying that his password to the server is wrong, and we cannot find a way to change it. Hi there,

I am trying to set my Sky email account on my recently purchase LG G3 S. It keeps on saying when I put in my details that they aren't recognised and it can't connect to the server. I am using the settings app, with accounts and sync and the email app, when I put in my details, this is where I have the issues. I not sure how to do it manually? So been trying to do it automatically. I don't click on Microsoft Exchange I press on other.

This is what I received at the end of my config and test:- Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.7.1 Authentication required

I have configured Outlook - Sky, and receive incoming messages both into Sky and Outlook - but when I send messages they only appear in Sky and not Outlook! Please can you advise how to fix this? Thanks

Just remember in Outlook in the Advanced tab of the More Settings... menu to select SSL for each of the encrypted connections. In Windows 10 you also have the option of using the built in Mail app which I think automatically detects sky account settings given the email address and password for that account.
