Account name: choose a name for the mail account
Your name: enter your own name
Incoming e-mail server: pop.freeserve.co.uk
Accounttype: pop3
Username: email
Password: your email-password
Outgoing e-mail (SMTP) server: smtp.orange.net
Outgoing server requires authentication: no
Use the same credentials as for the incoming email setup.
In exactly the same position, was working fine, then nothing. Tried putting in a new account, constantly syncing. Tried turning it off and on again, still syncing. Took the battery out, same again. Nokia or Windows by themselves would be bad, together they're even worse. My advice, get an iPhone!
3 years agoMy phone stopped downloading messages so I removed the account and set it up again. Now it appears to be stuck syncing. How long should this take and is there anything else I could try to do to sort it out.
