8 years agoI have followed all the instructions but when I go to retrieve mail I get a message that says: The username or password for "1and1" is incorrect. But it's the same information that works on my laptop. What should I do?

8 years agoSame issue as many people have noted below - I can receive but cannot send emails with the account on my iPhone. It works fine from my computer, and used to work fine from my phone until a few days ago. I've tried everything, including changing my password, but I keep getting the error when I try to send a message: "Cannot Send Mail: The user name or password for xxx is incorrect." Anyone solved this yet?

9 years agoI am unable to receive emails on my iPad, I have followed all 1and1 instructions for adding an account and it keeps saying unable to receive email, I am also having the same issue with my Samsung phone
9 years agoCannot send emails just says user name and password not correct although I can receive them, done all above in settings etc just disappeared over night
9 years agoHi there. I'm trying to set up my account on my iPhone 6 and can receive emails but I can't send them as its saying my password is incorrect but this isn't the case as its what im using on my iPad and laptop. Please help as this is a frustrating issue!!
9 years agoIf the account contain with larger number of mails. user need to connect the iphone to a wifi network.other wise it wont work
