Set up iPhone Blueyonder

1 Choose settings

2 Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars

3 Tap Add account and select Other

4 Tap Add Mail Account and enter the following information:

Name: your name
Email: your Blueyonder email-address
Password: your Blueyonder email-password
Description: enter "Blueyonder"

5 Choose imap under incoming mail server and enter the following information:

Hostname: imap4.blueyonder.co.uk
Username: email
Password: your email-password

6 Scroll down and under outgoing mail server, enter the following information:

Hostname: smtp.blueyonder.co.uk
Username: email
Password: your email-password

7 Tap save and in select your emailadress in the next screen.

8 Scroll down and under outgoing mail server choose SMTP.

9 Under Main server select smtp.blueyonder.co.uk and make sure the following information is displayed:

SSL: ssl
Serverport: 465

10 Tap done and go to the previous screen. Choose Advanced and make sure the following information is correct:

SSL: ssl
Serverport: imap4.blueyonder.co.uk

11 Again, go back to the previous screen. Restart your iPhone to finish the setup!

  • Are you able to help! I have a blueyonder email address and have recently changed from Viegin media to BT for my Internet service provider due to service connection issues. I am recieving a connection error both on my Macbook pro and on my Galaxy S4 smart phone, saying 'Authentation error' not able to sign in! Also not able to remember all my log in details to refresh my password ! Will I have to sort out a new password or should I still be able to recover my email address?
