iPhone guide to setup Inbox.com mail
5 Choose 'Add mail account', and enter the following information:
Name: your own name
Email: your Inbox.com email address
Password: your Inbox.com email password
Description: a personal description
6 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Incoming mail server':
Hostname: imap.inbox.com
Username: your Inbox.com email address
Password: your Inbox.com email password
7 Under 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'next':
Hostname: smtp.inbox.com
Username: your Inbox.com email address
Password: your Inbox.com email password
8 Choose 'Done' at the top right and restart the iPhone to activate the settings.
Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the mail app to use your account.

The Serverport in step 10 should be 993, not imap.inbox.com, which is also shown at the very bottom of this web page.

I can get thru step 9 but on step10 my iPhone only allows me to insert numbers not letters so I'm unable to key in imap.inbox.com as the serverport under the Advance setting. Can you help me?

It doesn't work on my iphone 5S as described here. It seems that the description is made for an old version of iOS as the menues and the headlines are different on my phone which is up-to-date now, august 2016
