Outlook guide to setup Outlook mail

5 Select Internet Email Addresses, click Next and enter the following data among user data:

Your name: Your full name.
Email Address: your Outlook email address.

6 In the box Type Account below Server Information, select imap and fill out the following information:

Incoming e-mail: outlook.office365.com
Incoming port: 993

Outgoing e-mail: smtp.office365.com
Outgoing port: 587

7 Under Login Information fill in the following settings:

E-mail: your Outlook email-adress
Password: your Outlook email-password

Login with security: ssl

  • I have been locked out of my emails on outlook for 2 days the error code that keeps coming up is protocol POP3, port 995, secure SSL: yes error number 0x800CCC18 , I am now getting very frustrated with sky as I have even put the port numbers in as suggested above and it still does not work.
