iPhone guide to setup Talk Talk mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.talk.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

  • For last month whenever I read and delete emails, they keep coming back as unread, some have no content, as fast as I delete they come back,120 of them at the moment, even when I delete trash folder, please help!

  • Can anyone please tell me how to send emails on an iPhone 6 when using a wifi away from home. Every time I try the server rejects the message.I have changed the outgoing server to 587 as recommended by Talktalk .HELP

  • just got new iphone5c and unable to delete emails on my talktalk account in space of 2 days it has received all my emails back to dec over 3000 emails.How can I get rid of them don't want to change my email address thank you

  • all my outgoing mail does not action have to send via an I cloud account think this may be a configuration issue its seems as if talktalk is blocking outgoing mail although receive all my e-mails ok. Thanks
