Android - Freeserve mail setup

Incoming server pop.freeserve.co.uk
Incoming port 110
SSl (security) incoming none
Outgoing server smtp.orange.net
Outgoing port 25
SSL (security) outgoing none
Requires sign-in no

Go to your mail app, choose settings and add a new email account.1

Choose pop3.3
Please enter your full Freeserve email address and password. Then select "Manual Setup".4
Enter the following information in the incoming settings screen:5

Username: email
Password: uw email-wachtwoord
Incoming server: pop.freeserve.co.uk
Incoming poort: 110
Security type: none

Choose 'next'.

Enter the following information in the outgoing settings screen:6

Outgoing server: smtp.orange.net
Outgoing port: 25
Security type: none
Authorisation required: no
Username: email
Password: your email-password

Choose 'next'.

Enter your preferences in the following screen and give the account a personal name. Congratulations, your e-mail has been se7

m trying to set up email account on ipad mini using above instructions but failing. the screens offered do not correspond to those shown above. I have an freeserve email address so is this causing problems or am I perhaps using incorrect settings? Help please.

Cannot send email from Galaxy A3 phone today. Has been fine now says cannot connect to server. Have checked and all settings as should be. Is there a problem with the outgoing server? All OK with sending email from laptop.

I have tried all of the settings above and all the combinations of freeserve, wannadoo,and orange on my Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, I have managed to get it to send e-mail, but none of the incoming settings will authenticate, any ideas?? All works fine on my PC at home and used to work perfectly on my Blackeberry. The helpline people just keep saying that freeserve is old technology & that I'll have to change my e mail address. I'm pretty fed up as I now have a mobile phone which doesn't receive e mails when I am out of wifi. it just isn't good enough!!
