iPhone - Talk Talk mail setup

POP / IMAP imap
Incoming server mail.talktalk.net
Incoming port 143
SSl (security) incoming none
Outgoing server smtp.talk.net
Outgoing port 587
SSL (security) outgoing none
Requires sign-in yes

Choose settings1
Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars2
Tap Add account and select Other3
Tap Add Mail Account and enter the following information:4

Name: your name
Email: your Talk Talk email-address
Password: your Talk Talk email-password
Description: enter "Talk Talk"

Choose imap under incoming mail server and enter the following information:5

Hostname: mail.talktalk.net
Username: email
Password: your email-password

Scroll down and under outgoing mail server, enter the following information:6

Hostname: smtp.talk.net
Username: email
Password: your email-password

Tap save and in select your emailadress in the next screen. 7
Scroll down and under outgoing mail server choose SMTP.8
Under Main server select smtp.talk.net and make sure the following information is displayed:9

SSL: none
Serverport: 587

Tap done and go to the previous screen. Choose Advanced and make sure the following information is correct:10

SSL: none
Serverport: mail.talktalk.net

Again, go back to the previous screen. Restart your iPhone to finish the setup!11

I can't set up my email on my new iPad. I have a Tesco address. It does not seem to work. Is there a problem with it. Does it need to be a talk talk email?

My e mail doesn't accept incoming or outgoing mail and I have re entered the password but it's not right? I recently had some one allegedly from Talktalk hack into my computer and wonder if something gone a wry?- I have used a new password on 'my Talktalk account'- should I delete the set on the phone and set up again?- however it would be easier if you can help retrieve the old password that I used to set up the phone so I can change it to another one. The apple shop did say that Talktalk e mail set up is very difficult? I appreciate for security you may not supply however if you have access could you just send to my mobile another password?

Can anyone please tell me how to send emails on an iPhone 6 when using a wifi away from home. Every time I try the server rejects the message.I have changed the outgoing server to 587 as recommended by Talktalk .HELP

Carried out all above steps on my mothers iPad Pro. Still doesn't load emails. It did when new, but stopped receiving a couple of days ago

My TalkTalk email has stopped on my iPhone 5 I have deleted the a/c and tried to reinstall it,but when I try to follow these instructions it tells me that they are for O2 customers and I can go no further

Keep getting username or password incorrect message . Have deleted and added email address but no luck. Wife has talk talk email on her iPad and all is working ok. I an the talk talk account holder and am using same password as used for my account.

Settings for iphone6 for my email at talktalkbusiness.net it will enable with pop3 but won't allow outgoing at any price!!!

For last month whenever I read and delete emails, they keep coming back as unread, some have no content, as fast as I delete they come back,120 of them at the moment, even when I delete trash folder, please help!

all my outgoing mail does not action have to send via an I cloud account think this may be a configuration issue its seems as if talktalk is blocking outgoing mail although receive all my e-mails ok. Thanks

I have an iPhone 6. I tried to follow instructions but I cannot find a way to choose imap for incoming server - how do I do this please? It defaults to pop. Cannot send e-mails, so want to sort it out.

just got new iphone5c and unable to delete emails on my talktalk account in space of 2 days it has received all my emails back to dec over 3000 emails.How can I get rid of them don't want to change my email address thank you
