Android guide to setup MSN mail
1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.
If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.
2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':
Email: your MSN email address
Password: your MSN email password
3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':
imap server: imap-mail.outlook.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993
4 Your account is now ready to use.
Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

Nothing works. Ive tried every instructions i could find online I've waited months to see if you people would fix this. Garbage!!!!

I am trying to transfer my email account from an ipad to a samsung tablet. Keep getting incorrect email address, password, or setting up a pop 3 account is not permitted. What i expect is that i have forgotten my password. Is there any way we can reset? Thanks.

I was able to access email on android phone until saturday 11/19 but cannot connect to incoming server . it quit receiving emails now i cannot set it up at all

I am not able to log into my email, keeping coming up as "Unable to set up account" (An incorrect username or password has been entered, or POP3/IMAP access is not enabled for this account. Check your account settings or contact your service provider.) please help i don't know what's wrong i type everything in right...

I have an android phone. Out of the blue, email on my MSN account just started arriving in a text format, not readable, no pictures, etc. In some of the email messages, when I click on the links, I get sent to a webpage 404.sailthru.com (page not found error). What happened? I didn't change anything and this just started happening. Please advise. Thank you.
