Android guide to setup Tiscali.co.uk mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Tiscali.co.uk email address
Password: your Tiscali.co.uk email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.tiscali.co.uk
Security type: none
Port: 143

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

I've been sent a meting invitation & have accepted it, but now not only is it removed from my inbox (fairly standard) but I can't actually see a calendar for my Tiscali email account to retrieve the time or details. Help!!

I have a Mobile STK x2 and am trying to connect my email through this phone via my gmail app. Have tried all your examples but still replies "cannot find server" can you please help me????

I have tried everything you have said but cannot get my tiscali e mail to set up om my Huawei phone . Help PLEASE. It keeps saying can't connect to server.

Finally managed to set up tiscali emails on my moto4 android phone. Here's what worked for me: Chose "other" on 1st screen which lists types of email. entered email address in next screen and my tiscali password in next and chose imap (NOT, pop3) in next. Then an incoming server screen appears and here i did NOT touch the password and only entered "imap." in front of "tiscali.co.uk" for incoming server and port as "143" which I thikit defaulted to. That worked! Then on outgoing server screen I entered "smtp." before "tiscali.co.uk" as outgoing server, port 587. Oh, and security type defaults to STARTTLS which I left alone. That did it!!

when i come to set up smtp settings i enter orange.net but then get a message stating "couldnt open connection to server " help please
