iPhone guide to setup AOL mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.aol.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

I have updated all my emails and filed in to sub folders on AOL web site, but on my iPhone, iPad it has not updated, it use to why not now?

I'm having the same problem with re-connecting to AOL on my iphone since installing IOS 12.3.1 today. As somebody else has asked previously, where are the answers to our questions, because your step by step fix above has not worked.

I recently lost access (today) to my email account it said my password was incorrect, I have since logged in on line and changed my password, I have changed the password on both my I phone and I pad and they still say password is incorrect. I have reloaded settings and restarted and still no good. Was is going on
