iPhone guide to setup Tesco mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 110

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mail.tesco.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 25

  • I have repeatedly followed directions to add my tesco email address to my iPad to no avail . I like all of the other people writing into you get the message that my email or pass word doesn't match . It does of course . I am stuck and do not want to abandon my tesco email address . Please help . Is there a person I can speak with over the phone or get the correct directions

  • tried many times and it still doesn't work. first it says Cannot connect using SSL, do you want to try without, so i say Yes. then it always says the username or password for mail.tesco.net is incorrect. I've logged in using these on my computer all the time the password and username are correct. and thats it i can do anything else as if i save it as it saying i wont get or send any emails. please help
