  • I am trying to set up a new email address (hughes.obm@btinternet.com) in Outlook on a number of devices. I have followed the instructions in email Account Settings (though they differ from the ones given on this website) but am receiving the response that the incoming server cannot be found. I have had the same response in both POP and IMAP. Please advise

  • I can't access my emails via my Outlook app. I keep getting asked to input my password every week or so, but now I'm being asked for a whole lot of other info I don't know and even trying to find this info online hasn't helped as everything I put in is rejected. Can you please help as I'm getting more and more frustrated and I don't want to have to keep accessing my email online? I'm being asked for: IMAP Host Name: IMAP Username: IMAP Password: SMTP Host Name: SMTP Username: SMTP Password: Please help as I'm pulling my hair out trying to sort this. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook, but this only worked for the first time I logged in and then all this stuff came up again. I've been at this for nearly 2 hours trying every combination of possible response I can find to no avail. I don't understand why I can't just use the BT Yahoo app I used to have, it's already annoying that I've had to change from that. I mean when I get my email online it still says Yahoo in the address bar, so why it doesn't work anymore is a mystery. I really don't want to have to change to yet another email app. Please, please help. Sandra Frew tsfrew@btinternet.com
