Please enter your full Virgin email address and password. Then select "Manual Setup".4
Enter the following information in the incoming settings screen:5

Username: email
Password: uw email-wachtwoord
Incoming server: imap4.virgin.net
Incoming poort: 993
Security type: ssl

Choose 'next'.

Enter the following information in the outgoing settings screen:6

Outgoing server: smtp.virgin.net
Outgoing port: 465
Security type: ssl
Authorisation required: yes
Username: email
Password: your email-password

I'm trying to set up my email accounts to my new android phone using the advice page that Virgin provides and I keep getting the following message - Account setup error; setup failed. Reasons may be; the username or passwordis incorrect. The IMAP/SMTP service is disabled. Enable the service and try again. For more information contact your email service provider; any ideas regards Simon

I am trying to set up my email account on a new android mobile. All of the settings and details are correct, but I get a message up:

Setup could not finish
Authentification failed
