Android guide to setup Blueyonder mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Blueyonder email address
Password: your Blueyonder email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.virginmedia.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • I've set up Account on my Huawei phone but I don't seem to be able to sync between phone and Laptop so that I can see all my folders on my phone and I can't delete from phone and sync as they are all still on my Laptop. I could do this before using my other Android phone!

  • I have tried umpteen time to get into my blueyonder account. I have a notebook, and blueyonder opens or!! But I cannot remember password. So said notebook will not open!! Thank you Mrs Crowther.

  • i have just purchased a new Samsung A40 mobile phone and am trying to set up my blueyonder email address in Outlook. I have been able to set up my gmail anf Hotmail accounts but it will not accept my blueyonder account. unfortunately this is my main account I am using all the settings you are showing but it will not accept the account
