iPhone guide to setup AOL mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.aol.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

My aol account was hacked so I changed my password. Now I can access my aol mail on my computer, but not on my iPhone 6s. I have tried all of the suggestions above, but I do not get the option to put in an incoming mail server. HELP!

My email has suddenly vanished on my phone and I have tried multiple times unsuccessfully to reinstall it. It says I am up at aol.com is not responding. Can you help me with this?

According to these instructions you can set it up as an "other" option then plug in the settings they provided. If you have a more recent phone with the most recent IOS then you can use the AOL option.

Hi I don’t know why am having such a hard time following the steps to Adding AOL to my iPhone. I don’t have that option to add account. My mail contacts and calendar and are all separated in settings. They are not combined like you have them in your Example, therefore I am so frustrated it and can do it
