iPhone guide to setup AOL mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.aol.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

The settings you provided did not work on my iPhone 5 . I lost my Aol mail on my phone and laptop about 2 months ago, got it back on my laptop w/ a new password but can’t on my iPhone. Finally I got it another way on my iPhone , it was added on my apps screen .autmatically., but not through my mail settings. Thank you

I cannot access aol on my iphone. I changed NO settings. And, while I would be happier if I could read responses to the same question asked by others, I can't click through to do so. So, what is the answer? thanks
