Wanadoo email settings for iPhone

iPhone guide to setup Wanadoo mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 110

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.orange.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

i changed imap to pop in account settings and it worked (not sure if its correct thing to do though)

Tried configuring my wanadoo email account to access it on my iPhone 6. Followed the instructions and got an error saying it couldn't find the ssl but I clicked ok to carry on without it. Next message was unable to find incoming pop.wanadoo.co.uk as per instructions. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Rita

I've followed and checked all the above, but my phone still wont download emails!

I followed the above for my grandmothers wanadoo email account but it didn't work!! Any advice?

My friend wishes to end his account with you and you are saying that you cannot do it without his password, which he has forgotten. My friend is elderly and unwell and your company is causing him much worry. He is unable to speak to you himself due to his illness and I am now telling you if you do not end his account we will be taking legal action against you. You would seem to be preying on an elderly inform gentleman and this will not be tolerated.
