iPhone guide to setup Wanadoo mail

5 Choose 'Add mail account', and enter the following information:

Name: your own name
Email: your Wanadoo email address
Password: your Wanadoo email password
Description: a personal description

6 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Incoming mail server':

Hostname: pop.wanadoo.co.uk
Username: your Wanadoo email address
Password: your Wanadoo email password

7 Under 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'next':

Hostname: smtp.orange.net
Username: your Wanadoo email address
Password: your Wanadoo email password

8 Choose 'Done' at the top right and restart the iPhone to activate the settings.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the mail app to use your account.

  • I have a new iphone SE and ipad air 2 and am unable to add my wanadoo email account to either nor can I access them via the safari web browser, any suggestions?

  • After a few failures I did as someone else recommended and used pop not imap and it worked. Sam at the EE help desk had earlier told me that EE was no longer supporting new iPads and had many folk with problems but mine is now working

  • On my iPhone 6 I've followed instructions, but at the end I get The IMAP server "pop.wanadoo.co.uk" is not responding. Check network connection. All other phones are getting email
