Outlook guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Start Outlook and open 'Account Settings'.

Click on the file tab and in the 'Information' category click on 'Account Settings'

2 Create a new email account.

In the 'Email' tab, click 'New'

3 Enable 'Server Settings' and click Next.

Check 'Server settings'.

4 Congratulations, your account has been added!

Click on 'Test Account Settings'. If everything goes well, click on next and then on finish.

  • I have configured Outlook - Sky, and receive incoming messages both into Sky and Outlook - but when I send messages they only appear in Sky and not Outlook! Please can you advise how to fix this? Thanks

  • We changed recently to sky, we can get mail in outlook but can't receive. Do I have to change settings? The ones above don't seem to be working, it tells me the server has timed out beforehand

  • thinking of installing Win 10. Is it ok with Sky? What email settings do I use for Yahoo and Sky? Does it automatically use outlook as default on win 10. Does everything on sky work with Win 10? Sorry to be a pain but not a geek. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

  • This is what I received at the end of my config and test:- Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.7.1 Authentication required
