Android guide to setup AOL mail
1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.
If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.
2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':
Email: your AOL email address
Password: your AOL email password
3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':
imap server: imap.aol.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993
4 Your account is now ready to use.
Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

My phone used to be able to send out emails but now I keep getting failed messages. Ive checked the outgoing emial settings for AOL and it says to enter 587 as th eport but then I get a message not able to safely connect to server. Pls asdvise

Please provide step by step procedure for adding AOL account to Outlook app for Android. There is not the option for manual set, only advanced settings for IMAP accounts that include: email address password display name description IMAP host name IMAP user name IMAP password SMTP host name SMTP user name SMTP password Thank you

When I send e-mail Wandamm@aol.com shows as the ender instead of my e-mail address shows above. I am using AOL on an Android device. Wanda set up my AOL account on this tablet, but no longer uses it..She is an AOL user and wandamm@.com is her address. I need help to straghte this out. When go to AOL settings everyjthimg looks OK,.including my email address. My account is the default sending account. If I send an email from my tablet to myself of arrives at my AOL inbox showin Wanda as the sender. Don a lot of research but find a solution

How do I get my emails to arrive latest first? They are currently coming in alphabetical order so are mixed all through my saved mail and have to scroll many lines to find them. Thanks for your help. Bonnie
