Android guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Sky.com email address
Password: your Sky.com email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.tools.sky.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

gmail stopped working on my phone on 15th (I can logon to my sky emails on a laptop OK though) ,its saying my username or password are wrong but they are what I sign into sky online with? and there isnt an option to reset my password, can you help?

Sky emails suddenly stopped on Sony android today. Tried to reset account and after checking incoming server settings keep getting "could not finish" connection to server refused. Root certificate invalid.

When I switched my broadband account from TalkTalk to Sky a few months ago I was not offered a Sky email address. I now need one as TalkTalk is now cancelling the Tiscali address above. The instructions on this page tell me to enter my Sky email address in attempting to set up a Sky email address. Any chance, please, of an email from you sorting out my confusion and directing me to a more understandable way of establishing a Sky email address? T. Dwyer.

My E-mail has been down for over a week, I have reset my password no change, I'm using a pop3 account I have even tried using Imap, but it still fails, I can log onto sky/yahoo to access my e-mails but not from outlook 10, what is going on.

I have two Sky e-mail accounts - this one and one other. Both work fine on my PC. This one - has just started throwing up an error message: 'The user name or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isn't turned on for this account. Check your account settings or contact your service provider.' Worked yesterday with current settings - Ive changed nothing. What the heck's going on?

Sky email last worked Monday. All modes unable to connect now. On PC using Outlook 2019, Tried Outlook.com and Android email on phone.. Nothing now connects ok.. Why has this happened ? When is it going to be fixed ?

Hi I'm trying to set up my email address on my phone and it's saying the IMAP/SMTP servers are disabled and to contact my email provider. I've followed the instructions as I normally do and it's not working. Thanks
