Android guide to setup Sky.com mail
1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.
If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.
2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':
Email: your Sky.com email address
Password: your Sky.com email password
3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':
imap server: imap.tools.sky.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 993
4 Your account is now ready to use.
Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

This does not work on my mobile !!!! I have tried to follow the instructions above but i just get error messages!!! All i want to know is how to set up my sky emails on my huawei P9 lite!!!!!

I have not been able to log into my emails via my Huawe1 P20 lite since Oct 29th 2019 I keep getting the same message on my phone " Setup failed. Reasons may be: The user name or password is incorrect. The IMAP/SMTP is disabled. Enable the service and try again. For more information contact your email service provider." I've had my email address for many year and have only had problems since changing to Yahoo!!!!! What's going on?

Had the same problem on my android phone. Sorted it by downloading Yahoo email app from play store. Works as before but with annoying ads at the top.

When I switched my broadband account from Bt Internet.com I have not been given Set up E-mails to SKY and loose BT by next saturday.. I now need 3 Emails addresses for the family as BT Internet is now cancelling the BTi address above. The instructions on this page tell me to enter my Sky email address in attempting to set up a Sky email address. Any chance, please, of an email from you sorting out my confusion and directing me to a more understandable way of establishing a Sky E-mail address before all my contacts are lost. please call us or E-mail while we can simple instructions as i signed into the sky account hit top right hand area into Yahoo Email accounts and says the no longer support them. Please show simple method of doing this as not done it before and nobody in my house hold is good with computers. Many Thanks Grant Stoodley.

It will not set up on my phone, keeps saying incorrect username and password. Can anyone help. Ever since it changed to yahoo email I have had nothing but trouble. This is my business email and is just a bloody pain now.

Omg thank you all. I have suddenly had same problems. I have done all the things sky suggest, but still no solution, even contacted them & nothing. I thought it was my phone, but even my old phone & computer won't receive emails unless I go onto Yahoo. & That is full of ads

Answer - Sky have updated their security settings, so not all email apps work anymore - They did send out a few emails on this over the last few weeks/months, check their website for details of apps it now supports
