Android guide to setup Talk Talk mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Talk Talk email address
Password: your Talk Talk email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: mail.talktalk.net
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • It would not get past valdating server on incoming . Could not get to outgoing server. This happens on 3 android tablets. Copied letter for letter on your site.

  • I have just set up my e mail account on moto 3rd gen and when I delete e mails on phone it also deletes them of the server even though I have selected "never" can you help ?

  • I've been having problems sending mail from my samsung galaxy tablet and my mobile. Tried to follow your advice by deleting account and trying to add it again but keep getting message authentication failed, failed to connect to server. What do I do now !
