Android guide to setup Talk Talk mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Talk Talk email address
Password: your Talk Talk email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: mail.talktalk.net
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • Have followed the instructions, but message back says unable to set up account beause incorrect username or password or POP3/IMAP access not enabled for this account. Want to add talktalk email to Gmail account

  • I cannot finish setting up my talktalk email account as there is no screen to enter the mail settings for talktalk. After entering my talktalk email address and password, etc, it then days that setup cannot finish as there is no authentication for talktalk. How can I continue with setup?

  • You have the outgoing server name wrong - it should be smtp.talktalk.net
