Android guide to setup Talk Talk mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Talk Talk email address
Password: your Talk Talk email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server:
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 At 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'Login':

SMTP server:
Security type: tls
Port: 587

Verification for sending email: yes

Username: email
Password: your Talk Talk email password

5 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

This is happening every day now since I installed new router which was supposed to correct all the wrongs that the old router was causing this a bit concerning as you still expect to be paid monthly but with no reduction for not supplying the deal which is including e-mail.

  • Since you have updated yr email sight i cannot get emails through my email app on my mobile or any notification when i am receiving them. My email app is still syncing but no emails coming through.
