iPhone guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.tools.sky.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

Last email received was on 21st October; having been away we haven't been monitoring. Today unable to send or receive emails and keeps stating user name and password incorrect. Anxious as only email account, I've just started a Masters with Birmingham Uni and expecting correspondence. Please advise

I want to set up my sky email accounts as pop3 accounts on my iphone. I have had my sky accounts as pop on my previous android phones. I'm having difficulty. Is this possible?

ive entered all items correctly (i believe) but it keeps coming up cannot send outgoing email because email or password incorrect
