iPhone guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.tools.sky.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

  • I'm really hacked off with what you have done to my email accounts. It all went wring yesterday with over 120 mailer demon emails sent. I phoned up and was talked through resetting my password. I did this now nothing works and I am in the middle of the countryside and only have a mobile phone to call you on so cannot afford to call you. I have tried several times to reset my password and it constantly says there is an error on my a count. I was told it was a server error with sky and yahoo but this has caused me a day of stress and i am really hacked off. Please reset my account, as i cannot do anything as it states there is a problem. What have you done to the accounts?

  • Hi all of a sudden my phone has stopped accessing my email and keeps telling the incoming server isn't responding. I've tried deleting and re-adding my account but nothing's working.
