5 years agoconstantly being told I am entering the wrong password for my imap virgin media account but i only ever use 1 p/w, not had any emails recvd for weeks, can you show me how to rest the p/w
5 years agoMy incoming email works fine on my iPad but I am unable to enter the correct settings for my outgoing ntlworld.com email. Should I still be using ‘smtp.ntlworld.com’ as the outgoing server or something else? Possibly, I am using the wrong password. Would you send the current one to me or send me a changed version please? Any help would be appreciated.

6 years agoWhy if i am a virgin media paying customer do i have to have adds on my virgin media email app? I understand other apps do that on free versions except if you pay for the app you get no adds. Grrrrr i dont like adds popping up on my phone
6 years agoI have set up my iPhone 4 (a hand me down!) and verified the email settings after applying the IMAP protocol. All the historical email data loaded onto the iPhone, including sent and received emails. I can receive emails but I am unable to sendl. I keep receiving the "Cannot send Mail" message stating that the username or password for "melanieprice@virginmedia.com" is incorrect. The problem defies all rational explanation and I have spent all day attempting to find a solution by trial and error. I woulds be grateful for your advice please.
