iPhone guide to setup BT Internet mail
1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.
Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'
2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.
Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.
3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':
Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993
4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mail.btinternet.com. Make sure the following information is correct:
Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

trying to open new btinternet e mail account on my apple products. on my i phone keep getting the same error message "username or password for mail.btinternet.com is incorrect". I think I'm following all the instructions correctly and have never had any problems setting these up before. Any help would be appreciated.

On my iPhone 5 and iPad version 2 I always read my emails through the yahoo mail icon when I recently updated my iPad to 6 generation and iPhone 7 I cannot now use the yahoo mail icon as yahoo no l9mger supports but internet mail. How can I see my emails now on my ipad

since the Yahoo outage last week my iPhone can access this email address but is not downloading the messages to the mail app. The other 2 emails are working as normal. Please can you help?
