iPhone guide to setup Sky.com mail
1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.
Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'
2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.
Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.
3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':
Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993
4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.tools.sky.com. Make sure the following information is correct:
Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

My email chezza1@sky,com hasnt recd incoming mail since december. i have deleted the account and tried to reset it up and message now says the username or password for imap.tools.sky.com is incorrect with no potential solution what do i need to do?

Tried all that’s been prompted re settings on my sky mail and nothing it working to download and access new email on my iPhone. Was there ever a resolution that worked for people, this has been like it for about a week.

The same as so many others but emails on my iphone have stopped synchronising so have a deleted account on more than one occasion and if I want to set it up as per these instructions then it gives me an error message saying that " The username or password for imap.tools.cky.com is incorrect. Now the email address is right and so is my password as that allows me to sign into emails on the internet. What is the problem?
