iPhone - Sky mail setup

Mail settings Sky

POP / IMAP imap
Incoming server imap.tools.sky.com
Incoming port 993
SSl (security) incoming ssl
Outgoing server smtp.tools.sky.com
Outgoing port 465
SSL (security) outgoing ssl
Requires sign-in yes

Choose settings1
Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars2
Tap Add account and select Other3
Tap Add Mail Account and enter the following information:4

Name: your name
Email: your Sky email-address
Password: your Sky email-password
Description: enter "Sky"

Choose imap under incoming mail server and enter the following information:5

Hostname: imap.tools.sky.com
Username: email
Password: your email-password

Scroll down and under outgoing mail server, enter the following information:6

Hostname: smtp.tools.sky.com
Username: email
Password: your email-password

Tap save and in select your emailadress in the next screen. 7
Scroll down and under outgoing mail server choose SMTP.8
Under Main server select smtp.tools.sky.com and make sure the following information is displayed:9

SSL: ssl
Serverport: 465

Tap done and go to the previous screen. Choose Advanced and make sure the following information is correct:10

SSL: ssl
Serverport: imap.tools.sky.com

Again, go back to the previous screen. Restart your iPhone to finish the setup!11

Can't get sky mail have followed all steps listed but can't get sky mail. I am in France for 2 weeks so can't use computer & only have 3G. It was working this morning then came up message wrong passcode. Changed password but now it's staying my inspired.tools.sky.com is wrong

He then got me to delete my email account but when I try to set up a new account I just keep getting the error message. Please help!

Hi...I am having problems getting my email from my ipad or iphone. I have just set it up yesterday and I was receiving email,now it has stopped. I have deleted and reinstated and followed your instructions but keeps saying sky server is down.

My husbands sky email account has stopped working, despite all the settings being correct. The message says incorrect user name or password. This is not the case could his account have been hacked?? The problem is we are not now with Sky so the operator put the phone down on my husband was asking for help. Please could you advise us on who to speak too to resolve this. I'm really hacked off with what you have done to my email accounts. It all went wring yesterday with over 120 mailer demon emails sent. I phoned up and was talked through resetting my password. I did this now nothing works and I am in the middle of the countryside and only have a mobile phone to call you on so cannot afford to call you. I have tried several times to reset my password and it constantly says there is an error on my a count. I was told it was a server error with sky and yahoo but this has caused me a day of stress and i am really hacked off. Please reset my account, as i cannot do anything as it states there is a problem. What have you done to the accounts?
